James (Jim)'s Story

Life Greetings Catonsville escapees. Contact me, jaj4764, through my Y----! group, "Halloween Hauntings" for for further info. Yeah, it's been a while since we escaped from the Catonsville Skrewl System. And to that guy who created "Cationsville Senior High" proves me right about the sad state of affairs of a publik skool sistimm. Well when you may have known me then, I was "Jimmie", but I go by Jim now, many friends also call me Bigg Dawgg.I am a Deputy First Class with the Baltimore County Sheriff's Office. I have worked both in uniform, and undercover. I am married, but after my wife had cancer, we are unable to have children. I have run for public office in 1996 and 1998. I was a citizen lobbyist in Annapolis, working on various issues. I was founder and president of the Catonsville Second Amendment Alliance 1994-2000; Vice President, Patapsco Valley Republican Club 1997; Endowment Life Member, National Rifle Association; Life Member and Area Representative, Law Enforcement Alliance of America, Life Member, Gun Owners of America;Member, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership; Member, Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #25; 32nd Degree Mason, Tuscan Lodge #202, Scottish Rite - Baltimore, and Boumi Temple Shriners. These days I enjoy hunting, fishing, law enforcement badge and patch collecting, duckpin bowling, antique/vintage cars, playing six twelve and bass guitars, playing mandolin, Civil War( War Between the States) reenacting, and working in the yard. I also play softball, and even play wiffleball. I was on the Westview Blue Duckpin team that won the Baltimore Duckpin Travel League Championship in the 1985-86 season. I still love westerns and horror/action/drama movies. I have written some short stories, and hope to have some works published one day. I am invovled with some history groups, and will eventually put my works into book form. I have been with the Baltimore County Sheriff's Office Pistol Team, and finished a few points short of the Governor's Twenty. I will eventually get back into it once some personal matters are cleared up. Of course I still follow all the Baltimore sports teams, as well as secondary teams, the Denver Broncos, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, and Phoenix Road Runners. After graduation, I lived in Princeton, West Virginia, and still have family there. I hope to move back there one day, but may end up moving near Pittsburgh after I retire since my wife is from there, and I don't have family here anymore. I still follow the West Virginia Mountaneers, sorry all you Maryland fans. You can take a man out of the mountains, but can't take the mountains out of the man. And yes, I am a redneck. I am a frequent caller to talk radio, as well as being a regular listener. I would describe myself as a libertarian Conservative (since I am a registered Libertarian), I am very confident in my beliefs, and will fight for them. It's a shame that...Expand for more
people in this nation can't vote for the person, rather than for a political party. I will rejoice the day when we can get back to our God given Constitutional beginnings. The State of Maryland is run by a bunch of socialists who should be imprisioned, but that is my opinion. As for now, I still live in the same house I grew up in. Still in Catonsville, still on Bloomingdale Avenue. I drive my patrol car in the Catonsville and Arbutus 4th of July Parades, but I will not drive in them during the years of the state elections. My wife is a Registered Nurse at Sinai Hospital, and is middle management. So here is my bio. Jim Jones, the one everyone who either loved, liked, hated, or made fun of in the Catonsville Skrewl System. Years have passed, and hope to reconnect, and even forgive those if they want to contact me. I'll be checking in from time to time. Hope some of you are doing o.k. too. Keep in touch, and God Bless America. School Out of the years that I have spent in the Bawlmer County Publik Skool sistumm, the final two years I enjoyed the most. I was happier going to Western Vo-Tech, than I was going to Catonsville. Catonsville Senior High had so many problems. If you were from the poor side of the tracks, you were an outcast. I remember wery vividly of the ruling class mentality of the school. All the preps, who I grew to hate at the time, usually used their parent's wea;lth to sway certain teachers, and flaunt their influence over others. All those years going to Catonsville weren't happy ones. And if I had a choice of a school to go to, I certainly would have never went to Catonsville Senior High. Go Western Wolverines! College Well, I started at Catonsville Community College after being out of school ten years. I was originally in Computer Science, but since the Catonsville Skool System screwed up, I didn't get that "arithmetic" thing down. I switched over to Criminal Justice, and I eventually went into law enforcement. Ed Zamarin was one of my favorite professors, and I do see him from time to time coming to the Circuit Courts. I have regretted that I didn't go to this college earlier than I did. Workplace First, I would like to thank Sheriff Norman M. Pepersack, Jr. for giving me the opportunity to become a Deputy First Class with the Baltimore County Sheriff's Office in 1996. I have strived in professionalism in every aspect of my working career. Now that I have ten years on, I am currently in patrol in the Rosedale/Essex/Bengies-Chase area of eastern Baltimore County. I have spent several years undercover in the Warrant Squad, but I needed a break to regroup since the passing of my father in 2004. I needed some time to work alone at a slower pace to regroup some of my thoughts, and straighten out some of my personal dealings. Although we have a different Sheriff now, we have some problems that were never solved since the departure of Sheriff Pepersack.
